Profile
A freelance writer and editor in the Triangle since 1997, Nancy E. Oates concentrates on writing and editing for newspapers, university publications, corporate communications and specialty magazines. She writes for and edits alumni magazines at Duke and UNC, and writes promotional pieces for human resources at Duke, as well as articles for the business and law school magazines at UNC. In 2005, Ms. Oates launched the real estate section for the Durham News and continues as the section editor, writing, editing and assigning stories.
